Even though I prefer Blogger, I have a Wordpress blog at Marti's DIY for those who can't comment here. Or you can email me. (Right sidebar)

By the way, if you use Blogger and can’t comment on WordPress blogs, change to a different browser. I found that I couldn’t post to WordPress when using Firefox.

Apparently, some Wordpress blogs won't let me comment if I use my blogger email either. So if you get a comment from me from thisemaildoesntexist@_________, that's why.

Gecko Invasion

This one is on the living room wall - I don't think it is here to sell insurance.

The pros are that they eat spiders and crickets. Cons are that they dart in when the door is opened at night. I wonder if they are chasing the crickets around the house while we sleep? I wonder if they crawl up the walls and watch us while we sleep? I wonder if I should quit sleeping at night?

Until next time, may you have blessings and peaceful sleep,
Marti

  1. For the past couple of weeks, every time I open the back door at night, either geckos or little frogs jump in!!! Did I mention I HATE frogs and geckos?!? I scream...hubby comes running...and goes into critter removal mode!

  2. How does he catch them? All we usually get are the tails? When Hubby tried to catch this one, the thing zipped under the loveseat. They are FAST!

  3. We don't have Geckos in Pennsylvania.... Thank goodness. I hate things crawling around.

I tried to follow your blog but I can't find the follow button and the one at the top doesn't seem to work.

  5. My cats think geckos are tasty. Woe betide the one that comes inside. And when dead and dried? Ooooh yummy, crunchy snackers!

Like the cute little things myself. Alive and outside catching flies, thank you.

  6. I wish the cat would try them, but he's pretty lazy and prefers his food in a bowl.

  7. I adore geckos. My love affair with the see-through creatures began during a semester in Hawaii when they were ever present little friends in my little dorm room. Now I love them because they eat scorpions- creatures that I do not adore.
