When Life Gives You Watermelons....

Make watermelonade?

We had a bumper crop from a volunteer vine in the compost. After eating all we wanted and giving away to anyone who would take them, we still had watermelon. So I juiced one, or what was left after we cut a few slices off. Doesn't it look yummy?

It wasn't. There is a reason you don't see watermelon juice in stores.

Until next time, may you have blessings and a bumper crop of any other fruit,
Marti

Are you kidding? That's the most luscious looking pitcher of nectar I've ever seen. I don't believe you. You're just trying to keep the secret of watermelon juice to yourself.

Laraine, Laraine, Laraine, I thought I was the only skeptic here. I don't think you should believe me either. In fact, I think you should jump in the car right this instant and go buy a watermelon - a big one. Cut it into chunks and push it through a juicer, then spend the next hour cleaning up all the sticky splatters. Then taste it and tell me when you are going to do it again. ;)
