Full Moon

It was a dark and windless night. I opened the door and heard the scurrying of little animal feet through the brittle leaves. Next door a dog was baying at the sound of the animal running by, and in the distance the yip, yip, yipping of coyotes. Above it all, the burnished moon glowed eerily in the sky. And then...

I snapped the photo.

Until next time, may you have blessings and portent,
Marti

Oh Great shot. I saw this pretty moon for a short few moments in the evening and then it started to snow. Was really pretty. I even saved a web cam shot of it from the highway. We probably were looking at this lovely moon about the same time.

How neat to think we were both looking at it at the same time. I think the moon was prettier Friday night, but I was driving home when I first saw it, and then forgot about it until later, and it was higher in the sky and had changed color.
