I used BIN primer on top of all the stuf...Hi Lana. I used BIN primer on top of all the stuff I had already done to it, then a Pittsburgh Paints Manor Hall gold and a brown latex. Sorry, I don't remember the exact color of the paints. For the glaze, I mixed the brown latex with Floetrol until it was the consistency of mayonaise. Then, when it was still wet, I used the graining tools. The glaze needs to be thick enough that it keeps the ridges you pull off with the graining comb. I let that dry and then made another batch of glaze, maybe even a little thinner, because I did want it to flow evenly into all the combed areas. Then I flogged it with a wide, coarse bristle paint brush. After everything dried, I used a water-based polyurethane on top.
