An accident thirty-five years ago left Hubby with a creased retina and no cornea in one eye. Without the ability to focus and track objects, the muscles in that eye became lax and his eye drifted a bit. So the surgery today was to realign that eye. After the surgery, the doctor told me that Hubby might need some aspirin or ibprofen. Might??? It's a good thing Hubby had the prescription filled yesterday for hydrocodone. He has been in fairly serious pain today.
He is supposed to be able to go back to work tomorrow, but we'll see.
The nurses at the surgery center enjoyed having him there this morning though. Evidently they see a lot of grumpy people and were happy to have a patient with a sense of humor. The nurse who called me back to recovery said he was so funny; she loved his dry humor, and he loved to have someone "get it". They were quite a pair.
Hope Your Guy is feeling better tomorrow.
